Headphones (or head-phones in the early days of telephony and radio) are a pair of small loudspeaker drivers that are designed to be worn on or around the head over a user’s ears. They are electroacoustic transducers, which convert an electrical signal to a corresponding sound. Headphones are designed to allow a single user to listen to an audio source privately, in contrast to a loudspeaker, which emits sound into the open air, for anyone nearby to hear. Headphones are also known as ear-speakers and earphone.
The Logitech Free-pulse Wireless Headphones are headphones that use Bluetooth to transmit audio from the receiver to the headphones. The receiver can uses a 3.5 mm headphone jack to plug into most audio outputs. The headphones emit sound from up to 10 meters (33 ft) away from the receiver using Bluetooth 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) wireless technology. It is also compatible with most music players but can also be connected via an external Bluetooth source.
